Upper Endoscopy or EGD procedures in Puyallup, WA are $1745 when scheduled through the ColonoscopyAssist program by itself. If scheduled along with a colonoscopy, the cost of both procedures is $3000.

The flat rate is a true all-inclusive rate. It includes all costs related to the procedure. There are no hidden charges or fine print and there is virtually no situation where you could see an additional charge. The price includes:

1) Physician fees
2) Facility / Hospital fees 
3) Sedation / Anesthesia costs
4) Removal of polyps
5) Pathology cost (Lab fees)

Our fee includes the removal of polyps and pathology lab fees for an unlimited number of polyps, biopsies or specimens.
An EGD procedure almost always has multiple biopsies taken.

The program offers financial assistance for those that are unable to afford the procedure.

Can a Colonoscopy be performed at the same visit as the Upper Endoscopy?

Yes. The program can schedule so that you have both the Upper Endoscopy and Colonoscopy at the same time. This is recommended as you only get sedated once.

Who is eligible to schedule through the program?

To receive the discounted rate for an upper endoscopy you must be:
1) indicated for an upper endoscopy
2) paying for the entire procedure out of pocket

The program does not have any residency, income or immigration limitations at this time. Certain income and immigration limitations do apply if you intend to apply for financial assistance.

How long does it take to get an appointment at the Puyallup center(s)?

Appointments are dependent on availability at the facility selected. Most individuals are able to have their upper endoscopy in around 2 weeks from the time the scheduling request is made to the program.

 

Is an office visit required before the upper endoscopy?

Physicians are more inclined to request a consultation prior to an Upper Endoscopy if you do not have a referral or do not have symptoms that would indicate the need for an upper endoscopy. Consultations are approximately $185.
